Lets Celebrate Nursing
Sometimes I am so challenged by the demands in my profession that I question my career choice. Then I find myself crying and hugging the wife of my dying patient and in this special moment, my whole world is shifted a bit. I would like to "stop and savor the blessings" of nursing, because it is a large part of my life and I believe nurses are special people. I hope you enjoy this blog and help me celebrate nursing. This week I had 3 patients who were all 55. Two with devastating conditions. Too close to my age.......makes me count my blessings....every day!! and makes me greatful to have the opportunity to understand this.
